Handling conflict constructively
Our two-day Handling Conflict Constructively course takes learners through the theory and practice of conflict resolution, providing a safe, enjoyable space to practice new skills.
(Trainers) were excellent and were knowledgeable in the subject matter and supportive of participants throughout. Very well organised sessions and will recommend to colleagues and others who may find course useful.

This course is designed for anyone who wants to develop their ability to handle conflict more effectively. We have trained a wide range of people over the years, including community workers, housing association staff, anti-social behaviour officers and others working in both public and private organisations.
How you’ll be taught
The course is highly interactive and you will learn through a combination of small group exercises, discussion and role play together with shared learning from trainers. This course is normally held online, using Zoom. For those unfamiliar or hesitant in using Zoom, do feel free to contact us and we can discuss your concerns.
Assessment procedure
This course is not assessed. It forms the foundation unit for our ten-module Mediation Skills course, which is assessed and is accredited by Scottish Mediation. Once learners have completed the Handling Conflict Constructively course, they can build on their learning by taking the Mediation Skills module.
